(Rant 3) Strangers

encarnation:

It happens to all of us. We see them around; people we used to know so well back in the day, before priorities and responsibilities became such a big part of our lives.

In my opinion its the realization of the fact that you and an individual have grown distant is what hurts the most. Cause sometimes its not easy to just to say, “hey, we should hang out.”

Sometimes its difficult just to even say a simple “how are you?”

Mainly because so much time has passed in between the both of you and now things just aren’t how they used to be. They say time heals, and you just gotta let it happen. Personally, i don’t thats always true. But what i do know is this, if at one point the both of you really meant the world to each other, then neither one of you will ever leave each others side. But keep in mind its a mutual feeling. One cant feel strongly and the other feel neutral. Its kinda the same feeling you have when you have a best friend. You may not see each other, talk to each other for months, even weeks. But that moment you hang out, it feels like no time has passed.

In a sense, everyone becomes a stranger to someone at some point in their life. We live in such a dynamic environment that these days, people really do just come and go. Not because they don’t care, but its because up till now, finding yourself has never had such a greater meaning, so were always on the pursuit to find that homeostasis with ourselves.

And so is he, and her and that guy and girl over there. Bottom line, try not to feel so discouraged when people change, fade to black, etc. Cause we all do at some period of our lives. Its not a bad thing, just think of it as, the reason they walked out/grew distant is because they wanted to take strides toward a good future for themselves. Be happy you crossed their path to where ever life takes them, you may have influenced them for the better.

Wishing my strangers the best.
